Butler's Main Street Manager is Becky Smith. She began her role here in August 2008. Becky has her B.A. in Interior Design from Kent State University, and her M.A. in History and a certificate in Historic Preservation from Youngstown State University, both in Ohio. She has approximately seven years experience working and volunteering with various preservation and downtown revitalization organizations in the Warren/ Youngstown, Ohio area, including a Main Street program in Warren, Ohio. Becky believes in the value and opportunities that our downtown core district holds. The success of the Main Street program in other communities all around the United States is evidence that not only is there interest in bringing these areas back to life, but also that the program's approach to revitalization is dedicated to help sustain communities' efforts into the Twenty-first century. |
